Rub both sides of the decal well with a credit card or similar tool to ensure the vinyl adheres to the clear transfer tape.
Flip upside down and slowly peel the white carrier sheet away from the clear transfer tape and decal at an acute angle
If the vinyl doesn’t separate from the carrier sheet, simply rub the transfer tape back onto the vinyl and peel away again. Because some of these can be quite intricate this can require a bit of patience, but so worth it!
You can also slightly heat it up with a hairdryer to have it pull away a bit easier.
If you are putting the decal on a curved surface, cut slits into the transfer tape around the decal to allow for a bit of movement. Look up tutorials for this on you-tube, it can become quite tricky
Make sure the surface is clean and dry, use rubbing alcohol to wipe down the surface before placing.
Attach a small area of the design/transfer tape onto your surface. This can either be the center or one end of your design.
Use a credit card or your fingers to lay the design onto your surface, working outward from where you attached the small area.
Peel transfer tape away from the design.
Work carefully. If vinyl peels up with transfer tape, simply rub it back down to the project surface and peel away again.
For best results, peel transfer tape at an acute angle.
** if it is too cold out, it will not properly adhere to your car window, the glue hardens too quickly and it makes it difficult to stick – please wait and apply when it is mild and dry.
** if you are placing the decal on your vehicle body please note uv does not penetrate the vinyl so if left on for too long, it will not fade with the rest of your vehicle
If you need further instruction or are putting on a curved surface there are a lot of great videos on YouTube to show how to do it!
